A VIEW ON ROSETREES BY DR AMRITPAL MUDHER
The Rosetrees Trust have been funding research in my laboratory for the last ten years. My experience of working with them over this time has been very rewarding in many ways. They were brave enough to take a chance when they first funded this project, when it was in its infancy and a “blue skies” idea, and have continued to support it as it has now grown to be a more established model of disease. In this time, they expressed a keen interest in every aspect of our model: the hypotheses we sought to test with it, the results we were getting and our future plans. Their support in all these ways was very personal, and somewhat different to that one gets from other, usually larger, funding agencies.
