For the second year, a merry gang of Rosetrees runners took part in the Vitality British 10K around central London.
Nearly 40 Rosetrees runners took part, pounding the streets alongside 27,000 other runners, starting at Piccadilly, along Regent Street, Pall Mall and passing St James Palace. The runners passed iconic London landmarks including Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye en route to the finish line at Whitehall.
Rosetrees would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who ran for Rosetrees, who all stood out from the crowd in their bright green T-shirts. We’d like to especially thank our researchers, including Cambridge MBPhD student Sarah Leiter, who completed the course alongside her guide runner in an impressive 50 minutes!
Well done to everyone who completed the run! Every penny raised from the run will go towards our 2014 Interdisciplinary Prize winning project, which is developing an in-ear monitor to measure brain activity and body functions after a traumatic brain injury.
