On Sunday 24th April, Dr Lesley Smyth took to the streets of London alongside around 39,000 other runners to complete the London Marathon. Lesley completed the course in around 5 hours and has raised more than £600 which will support one of our leading cancer research projects.
Lesley ran the marathon in memory of her friend Stuart Curd who sadly lost his battle with cancer last year.
Rosetrees are very proud to support Lesley’s work at King’s College London where she studies ways to improve the survival of transplanted organs, and are really pleased that she chose to support our research project. Every penny of the money she has raised will go directly to support cutting edge research.
WELL DONE LESLEY!!
