Rosetrees funding leads to £1.6m grant for leading cardiac research Professor

Rosetrees seed corn funding has led to Professor Yellon of UCL receiving a £1.6 million grant  from the British Heart Foundation, MRC and NIHR. Professor Yellon’s team has earned this grant based on data obtained in initial research funded by Rosetrees. The grant  will lead to a mean a 12 centre 1610 patient multicentre randomised control clinical trial to test  “The Effect of Remote Ischaemic Conditioning on clinical outcomes in Coronary Artery bypass graft surgery”
